This is an acrylic painting on canvas. Size: 60x60cm
I used acrylic paints from Daler-Rowney and brushes from da Vinci.
I spent lots of time painting this picture...I painted it over and over again, but I am satisfied with the result.
My grid is not that precise, because I didn't want to spend too much time with measuring and I didn't want to paint a realistic portrait, so that grid gave me a little bit of support.TIP:
If you need to draw the outlines or a grid on your canvas, use charcoal instead of pencil. Why? Because you can easily cover it with paint. Pencil drawing is harder to hide, but of course it depends on the paint and pencil as well. Drawing with coloured pencil is still better than drawing with graphite.
